DET article
Yesterday saw me featured in the Derby Evening Telegraph, a paper I first appeared in back in 1978, when the late Alan Smith would regularly write about my band Midnight Express. In 1981 I appeared with my next major band Tubeless Hearts, as we released our first single, and then again in the 90’s when I paid tribute to Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy on Stars in their Eyes. More recently, it was to announce the first song in the “Derby” series – Derby Pride, commemorating Nigel’s appointment and the return of the Clough dynasty. Martin Naylor’s piece yesterday focused on the completion of that project: the Fan fayre for the Commons people CD. For those of you for whom yesterdays Telegraph is now todays fish and chip wrapper, you can still see the article below!
