DCFC History – The Video!

As a companion piece to the “Commons People” video, I’ve put together (with Miki’s help) a video for “We’ll always be the Derby”  (see below) where you can hear the song in its entirety. The album is coming along nicely,  Track number 8 close to completion, then only 3 more to go! See if you can recognise everybody in our colourful past!

Fan Fayre for the Commons People!

Following the stupendous interest in the “Commons People” song and video, my partner and I, along with other interested parties the UK, are financing a new CD with the above title. It will feature 10 Derby related songs and hopefully include the “Commons People” video so people can put it on their iphones etc. We’re aiming to have it on sale within the next couple of months, and previews of songs will be aired along the way. The tracklisting (in no particular order) will be:

Derby Pride

The Co-Op Cow

Commons People

Can’t let Savage go (to the tune of cant let maggie go)

We’ll always be the Derby (To the tune of We didnt start the fire)

Steve Bloomer’s (still) Watching – New version

Wooly Bully

It Must be Clough (to the tune of it must be love)

The Derby Ram (modern remake of

More than half of the album is completed at the time of writing.

In the song Wooly Bully, I want to feature some funny fan stories, so use this thread to tell me them, and I’ll feature the best in the song’s lyrics with some namechecks.
