  1. Hello Kev, yo don’t know me, but I did the artwork for a poster for Tubeless hearts back in the early eighties for Bill Wright, Bankhouse Ents. He gave me a single at the time ‘Telephone’ for the lettering style. found it just recently and put it on ebay, it sold to a shop in Japan: Feelin’ Good Records’ Have now put one of two copies of poster on ebay. Just thought you may be interested to know (not to bid, you may still have one) anyway, glad to see you’re still in the business!
    Best wishes,
    Tom

  4. Kev as a Derby fan I was at the Charlton match couldn’t really hear the song (acoustics I imagine) but was intrigued – got around to buying your CD on May 11th, spent all the next day listening, singing, laughing, crying, downloading vids to my phone telling fellow Rams to do the same, watching them over and over – fantastic! brilliant! Could you please please do a video for Nothinghamshire I went to both Forest matches away and they were fantastic. Anyway more of the same mate – keep the faith!

I live near you, Villaricos and have been a Derby County fan for much longer than you, could be because Im older!! I was born in Derby many years ago and followed Derby County all my life especially during the Clough time. I remember Gemmill, Mackay, Hinton, McFarland, Todd, McGoven, O Hare, them were the days!! and yes its wonderful that Nigel Clough has taken over, lets wish him and the team the very best of luck for the next season, will be following them like the old days. Thanks for the article, all success to you too.

  9. Hi Odelia – only just discovered this comment in my spam queue, so apologies for the late acknowledgment! Villaricos is near me! I think my first game was when we were promoted to the old First Division with Crystal Palace. I’m solidly behind Nigel – as I’m sure you can tell with the lyrics of Derby Pride! Thanks for the best wishes -for both me and the Rams!

  11. Hi! I’m Sue, and I’m from SlimKicker, a diet/fitness app and site. I came across your blog a few days ago and it captured my interest!

I’m contacting you b/c we’re about to release a fitness tracker (similar to FitBit) early next year, and are looking for bloggers who would be interested in getting 1 for free to review when it is out (negative or positive).

Would you be interested in doing this? You can email me at: sue (at) slimkicker (com) with ‘Review’ in the email heading if you are.

A brief explanation of who we are, our site SlimKicker basically turns your diet/fitness goals into a fun level-up game. The tracker will work with the website, and allow people to track calories burned and number of steps they walk automatically. The more they exercise, the more points they rack up! That’s basically how it will work.

Anyway, hope to hear back either way…

    – Sue
